Faith is never a negative thing, yet the following question remains to be answered. Should Faith alone be the determining means to whether an addict controls the addiction or can other means be used to help the addict take control of his or her life and prevail over the addiction?

We feel that there is a world, an entire universe around us. But what we don’t realize is that there is another part of the universe that we don’t feel. Let’s call it the “upper” part of the universe.
Presently, we perceive what our five senses can absorb, and they only allow us to attain a part of the universe called “our world.” However, Kabbalists explain that we have the ability to penetrate much deeper. We can delve through our world into nature and perceive the Upper World. Let’s take a closer look at how we can do this.

Here in Las Vegas the weather is beginning to warm up. We are seeing signs of Spring and I am welcoming the change.
In a recent conversation, a dear friend of mine said to me ‘the roots of a tree do not question why the leaves above it fall. they just do. and such is the way.’
Change is a part of life. This viewpoint (called parinamavada) is a fundamental teaching of yoga.
It is the nature of the tree to know that old leaves must fall in order for new leaves to blossom and so it does not question. It is we that want things to be or stay a certain way, and when they do not, we resist. We cling to those leaves even as they wither and die, instead of letting them go.

Thanks to the vast reaches of the internet, global marketing is now possible for the average business owner, either the large corporation or the small privately run entity, to narrow the geographic divide.
The main point of search engine optimization (SEO) and reaching a global audience is not only to drive traffic to your site, but also to then convert those visitors from all over the world into paying customers. Web traffic and the ensuing exposure are nice, of course, but if those hits don’t improve business and increase sales, what purpose do they really serve?

At some point, don’t we all wish we had more motivation?
More motivation to quit a bad habit, more motivation to get started on an important project that will bring us more success in our life, or even more motivation to clean out the garage so our spouse will be happy.
We all have a list of things we want to do or things we wish we would stop doing, but we just can’t find the motivation to do so. Well the good news, as many researchers in the field of NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) have made clear, is that such motivation can be created. And it can be created in a matter of a half hour or less.

Getting and staying organised is not a mystery although it can seem like that to some people. All it takes is a few basic rules and then, of course, you need to do those things consistently.
Put these steps into place and you’ll have an organised home and office in no time:
1. A place for everything and everything in its place
Have a designated place for every single thing, especially before you buy it. When you’re still in the store, ask yourself, “where will this go?” and if you don’t know, don’t buy it.

I was speaking to a zesty MBA student the other day about the odds against something or other and she snapped back: “I love doing what people tell me I can’t do!”
I admire that attitude.
We see it in some super athletes, like Detroit Tigers outfielder Gary Sheffield. Mouthy, opinionated, and absolutely irrepressible, Sheffield will beat you with his words and his bat. By the way, he is one of my favorite players and I cheer for him no matter whose uniform he’s ripping.

Binaural beats, also known as binaural tones, are sounds that can alter your brainwaves. A binaural tone is made when two tones with a small difference are presented separately to the left and right output of a stereo headphone. When you would listen to it you will hear a beating tone. This is created by the brain itself.
